Updates and manages content, plus produces most video, for GJSentinel.com. She also manages all social media sites for The Daily Sentinel. A jack-of-all-trades in the newsroom.
Richie has a bachelor’s degree with emphases in print journalism and public relations from Mesa State College.
Richie joined the Sentinel staff in 1998. She’s been a circulation supervisor, page coordinator, auto and real estate advertising assistant, newsroom action desk coordinator, blogger, and was the first reporter hired to work exclusively for GJSentinel.com. (Phew.) She is currently the Web Content Editor.
Richie is the executive director of the Ashcraft household, which includes swim lessons, baseball practices and creating gourmet pies for four Ashcraft men of varying sizes. She enjoys silence but rarely gets to indulge.
