While the Mesa County Sheriff's Office originally reported that it had detained one suspect, Sgt. Henry Stoffel gave an update that nobody is currently considered a suspect. However, investigators are questioning multiple witnesses, and others in the home at the time of the shooting are cooperating with authorities. No shooter is believed to be at large, Stoffel said.
UPDATE: 3:45 p.m.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is confirming that one man is deceased after a shooting at 2108 Saguaro Drive. Deputies responded to the home after receiving a report that there was a shooting there at 2:41 p.m.
One person has been detained after a reported shooting at a Redlands home this afternoon, according to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.
The incident is being investigated in the 2100 block of Saguaro Drive in the Panorama subdivision, said spokesman Sgt. Henry Stoffel.
Stoffel said it appears one person has been shot, but did not know that person's medical status.
