Join us for the first of three workshops on living with a brain injury, Friday, January 24th, 2020, 12-6 pm in Grand Junction or online live stream. There is no cost but registration is required at: https://formstack.io/23DA8
The workshops are being offered through a grant from Mind Source Brain Injury Network Colorado Department of Human Services and facilitated by Western Colorado Area Health Education Center.
The first workshop acknowledges the confusion and frustration of NOT being who you were and developing a new road map to the person you want to become. We will explore challenges faced by those with brain injuries, methods of assessment and treatment, and strategies for developing a pathway to a successful and optimized life. We delve into the fears, chaos and frustrations of life with a brain injury loved one and discover strategies for finding balance and success as families navigate the brain injury world together.
The additional workshops are: Treatments and Tools for Maximizing Function with a Brain Injury – July 24th, 2020, 12-6 pm and Treatment, Services, and Experience with Brain Injury October 23rd, 2020 12-6 pm.
Register today and join in gaining information and tools to engage life fully with a Brain Injury. If you have any questions call Western Colorado Area Health Education Center at (970) 434-5474.
