Region's Largest Winemaking & Grape Growing Conference to Take Place in Colorado This Month!

The Colorado Association for Viticulture & Enology is excited to announce the 10th Anniversary VinCO Conference & Trade Show will take place January 20th-23rd at Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction, CO. This is the region's largest winemaking and grape growing conference bringing together top professionals in the industry from across the country. From PR to pruning and frost protection to fermentation, there will be something for anyone interested in growing grapes and making wine at this year’s event. Colorado's only regional wine & grape growing conference is held in conjunction with the Western Colorado Horticultural Society and includes a two-day trade show, networking events and an awards banquet.

Seminars throughout the conference include a Riesling Tasting & Seminar with the esteemed Stuart Pigott, an update and Q&A with the new Liquor Enforcement  Director, as well as seminars on contracts and succession planning. For the winemakers, Colorado Viticulturist Extension Specialist Miranda Ulmer and Viticulture & Enology Professor Jenne Baldwin-Eaton will host an in-depth tasting focusing on the nuances of cold hardy cultivars. An awards ceremony and panel discussion will also be held for those that have entered CAVE's Amateur Winemaker Competition!

CAVE will host over 20 conference speakers at this year's event with expected conference attendance to exceed 300 people per day. "We have a very diverse lineup for our 2020 conference including professional winemakers, restaurateurs, and viticulturists from all over the world. We can't wait for them to share their knowledge and expertise with the Colorado wine and grape growing industry this winter!" says CAVE Executive Director, Cassidee Shull.

VinCO begins Monday, January 20th and culminates with the Industry Celebration Banquet on the 23rd which features awards, dinner and entertainment. The trade show runs Wednesday through Thursday. To view the conference schedule and registration information,
