Please join us, Friday, August 2nd, to experience the breathtaking works of
studio artists photographer Gerald Ives and painter Megan Crawford.
Gerald Ives is a Colorado grown native. The artistic views brought out in the
photography of Ives are meant to show the true beauty of the landscapes and
nature we all live in. There is also a twist to the artistic views as well, to bring you
out of the norm of everyday reality.
Megan Crawford's art shows her love for the natural world. Each scene she
paints captures the variety and beauty of our local outdoors and wildlife.
Through her detailed brushstrokes you can see the respect and love she has for
the world around her.
You will not want to miss the "Visions of the Wild".
The artists will be on hand to meet and discuss their works with the public.
Appetizers provided by Taproot catering and complimentary wine tastings.

The Main Street Gallery

The public is invited to attend the 1st Friday Art Reception for Jim Dawson of
Crawford on August 2 from 5 to 9 pm. The exhibit features oil paintings of
landscapes and western wildlife. After a 36 years with the US Forest Service,
the artist returned to his early love of painting. That career gave him
week-long pack trips, business conducted around campfires and lots of time
in the most spectacular western scenery. The artist will be available to discuss
his work. Refreshments will be provided.
