Writers' Night at Art Center features first woman to walk around world

Polly Letofsky walked around the world — 14,000 miles and four continents — and wrote a book about it: "3MPH: The Adventure of One Woman's Walk Around the World."

Both were difficult endeavors and now Letofsky encourages other writers including those in the Grand Valley at the monthly Writers' Night schedule from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Art Center, 1803 N. Seventh St.

Along with talking about her walk around the world, Letofsky "will energize your writing efforts and inspire you to break the rules to get your stories told," according to information about this workshop from the Western Colorado Writers' Forum.

Letofsky also will talk about dialogue and observation.
