‘FARCE OF NATURE’

In this deliciously funny romp, one outrageous day at the Reel ‘Em Inn fishing lodge exposes lies, disguises, cross-dressing and door slamming, according to the Magic Circle Players.

As love blossoms, truths are revealed and the lives of all — family, guests and even a few gangsters — change in incredible and surprising ways.

The Magic Circle Players will present the chaotic comedy “Farce of Nature” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 10–11, at the Magic Circle Theater, 420 S. 12th St., in Montrose.

Additional performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 17–18 and Jan. 24–25, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19 and Jan. 26.

‘THE MUSIC MAN’

Students from Palisade High School are set to present the musical “The Music Man” with music and lyrics by Meredith Willson.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 16–18, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, in Kamas Auditorium at Palisade High School, 3679 G Road, in Palisade.

An “Old Fashioned Iowa Ice Cream Sociable” with Graff Dairy ice cream is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, so the audience can mingle with cast members before they go on stage.
