Following a playground altercation between two 11-year-old boys, their parents meet to resolve the matter.

Niceties are observed at first, but the adult discussion quickly devolves into a childish evening of name-calling, tears and tantrums.

This student-directed comedy play written by Yasmina Reza will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6–7, in the Mesa Experimental Theatre of the Moss Performing Arts Center at Colorado Mesa University, 1231 N. 12th St.

The play contains mature themes and language.

Tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $6 for students and can be purchased at coloradomesa.edu/tickets or at the box office an hour before a performance.

Presented by the Magic Circle Players this musical will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6–7, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at Magic Circle Theater, 420 S. 12th St., in Montrose.

Additional performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturday, Sept. 13–14, Sept. 20–21, Sept. 27–28 and at 2 p.m. Sundays, Sept. 15, 22 and 29.
