Guest speaker Adam Chambers, Ph.D. is a scientist at the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), working to implement conservation measures on managed agricultural lands.
Conservation Producer of the Year, Mullins Ranch, has made numerous conservation and habitat improvements to their property in the last several years. Ralph and Karen Walchle, also to be awarded Conservation Producers of the Year, have been implementing conservation practices on their ranch for over 17 years. Doug Eccher, the Conservation Teacher of the Year, teaches middle and high school science at Peak Academy in Montrose, CO.
