Brothers Grimm stories come together to show the beautiful journey of a family who is willing to do anything to have a child, even if that means they have to go on a journey into the woods.
Three nights of production on March 7th, 8th and 9th, at 7pm at the Grand Junction High School. There is a matinee on March 9th at 1pm. Tickets are available at 970tix.com are $7 and $10 before the event and go up to $10 and $13 at the door.
The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
Such life and death situations always have to be decided in the woods, and if you make the wrong choice...you might just get swallowed up by a wolf.
