Car wash DUI alleged

Gabriele Terraglia, 29, is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and other charges after he was reported to have fallen asleep at the wheel and blocked the entrance to the Canyon View Car Wash.

Terraglia had syringes, heroin and opioids in his vehicle, according to the arrest affidavit.

After submitting to a blood test, Terraglia told officers there would be heroin and methamphetamine in his blood, but would not tell officers when he last used heroin.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office:

■ Deputies responded to a report of vandalism on July 30 in the 3100 block of Hill Avenue.

■ A burglary was reported on July 17 in the 2900 block of Orchard Avenue.

■ A theft was reported June 1 in the 400 block of 35 Road.

■ A fence was cut and an ATV removed on Tuesday from a property in the 2800 block of U.S. Highway 50.

■ A burglary was reported Thursday in the 3000 block of Choctaw Place.

■ Ashley Ames, 22, is suspected of child abuse on Thursday after deputies found a child in the 300 block of East Rood Circle.

■ Cesar Rocha is suspected of domestic violence, menacing and assault in the 3200 block of Main Street on Thursday.
