Ryan Mulcahy, 23, is accused of sexual assault in charges stemming from an incident that allegedly took place in a Colorado Mesa University dorm room in October.

He received a $100,000 cash-only bond from the Mesa County Court on Monday.

According to the arrest affidavit, Mulcahy and another student left a party together to go to Mulcahy's dorm room, where the sexual assault allegedly took place. Mulcahy told police he believed the relationship was consensual, the affidavit said.

■ Josh Mauer, 30, is accused of motor vehicle theft and drug distribution charges and received a $25,000 cash-only bond from the Mesa County Court on Monday. Mauer was pulled over in Grand Junction without a driver's license and told police he was borrowing a friend's car whose name he couldn't remember, according to the arrest affidavit.

■ Taisha Brown, 42, is accused of theft and forgery and a $5,000 cash or surety bond from the Mesa County Court on Tuesday

Brown is accused of forging several checks and as well as possessing another person's financial information, according to the arrest affidavit.

■ Jesse Demoor, 23, is accused of DUI and reckless driving, as well as habitual offender charges and received a $10,000 cash-only bond from the Mesa County Court on Monday. Demoor has three prior alcohol convictions. This marked the fourth straight year he's been accused of driving under the influence.

Demoor was pulled over just before midnight on Monday and failed a breath test with a 0.183 blood alcohol level result, according to the arrest affidavit.

■ Gerardo Macias, 31, is accused of domestic violence and tampering with physical evidence and received a $10,000 cash-only bond from the Mesa County Court on Tuesday. According to the arrest affidavit, Macias called an alleged victim from a previous case over 200 times from jail, in violation of a protection order, and told her to make false statements to police.

■ Michael McDonald, 46, is accused of first-degree motor vehicle theft and received a $10,000 cash-only bond from the Mesa County Court on Tuesday.

Several stolen items were found on the property McDonald was at when he was contacted by police on Monday, according to the arrest affidavit.

■ Dustin Roehm, 48, is accused of driving under the influence with three or more prior convictions and received a $50,000 cash-only bond on Tuesday.

The court spoke to the public safety risk Roehm posed and several family members spoke at Roehm's arraignment hearing Tuesday, expressing concern in his behavior. He was found in Fruita asleep at the wheel at 11:00 a.m. on Monday with an open liquor bottle in the center console, according to the arrest affidavit.
