Christopher Jackowski, 40, is accused of first-degree aggravated motor vehicle theft, second-degree assault and domestic violence, among other charges, and received a $25,000 cash-only bond from Mesa County Court on Friday.
A woman that Jackowski had been in a previous relationship with called the police in September 2017 to report an assault, according to the arrest affidavit.
During the call, dispatch heard what sounded like screaming and physical fighting.
When officers got to the victim's home, she had open wounds on her head and her wrists and forearms showed injuries consistent with defensive wounds, the affidavit said.
■ Joshua Aquiningoc, 32, is accused of vehicular eluding, among other charges, and received a $5,000 cash-only bond on Friday.
Aquiningoc is accused of running from law enforcement in a car that was lent to him five times since Sept. 12, according to the arrest affidavit.
■ Karyl Trimble, 29, is accused of forgery and received a $5,000 personal-recognizance bond on Friday.
Trimble is accused of attempting to use a fake $100 bill to buy a soda at a local store on Oct. 24.
