Meter reader menaced
A 52-year-old woman faces a possible felony menacing charge, among others, for allegedly threatening a utility meter reader in a parking lot near First Street and Grand Avenue Wednesday morning.
Joanne Bunga-Fowler allegedly began yelling at the man "to get off her property or she was going to kill him," according to an arrest record.
Bunga-Fowler then allegedly approached the electrical meter reader with her hand in her dress and yelling, "I have a gun and I'm going to kill you!" according to police.
Prosecutors in court Thursday said Bunga-Fowler has multiple pending cases, and a judge issued a $5,000 cash-only bond in her new felony case.
