Montrose robberies arrest
The Montrose Police Department reported that an arrest was made May 31 in connection with a string of three burglaries in the Montrose area.
Jeremy Vieth, 35, was arrested in the case of burglaries on May 6, 20 and 24, at the Sunset Mesa Youth Sports Complex, a church and a Montrose office building. Items stolen amount to felony theft, according to Montrose city officials, and Vieth's bond was set at $5,000 cash-only following his advisement on possible charges including second-degree burglary and criminal mischief.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Christine Musich, 38, is accused of violating a protection order on Saturday.
■ Jared Smith, 36, was cited on suspicion of DUI on Monday.
■ Someone caused a loss of more than $5,000 when an item of value was taken from a business located near the 2300 block of River Road on Saturday.
■ Theresa Shamy, 59, was cited on suspicion of theft on Tuesday.
■ Cassandra Spriggs, 28, and Kaytlen Araujo, 28, are each accused of theft and drug possession on Tuesday.
■ Joseph Castro, 51, is accused of criminal mischief on Wednesday.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office:
■ Tiffany Elliott, 27, and Lewis McDonald, 26, each were cited Sunday on suspicion of noninjury child abuse, after deputies determined they left two young children home alone in the 3200 block of the Interstate 70 Business Loop.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff's Office:
■ Jason Harden, 43, Grand Junction, is accused of DUI and drug possession on Tuesday.
■ Jacob Wagner, 32, Montrose, is accused of violating a protection order on Tuesday.
According to the Delta Police Department:
■ Lisa Damiano, 39, Cedaredge, is accused of drug possession on June 3.
■ Justin Trujillo, 30, Delta, is accused of harassment on June 5.
