John Pacina, 63, is accused of vehicular assault and DUI and received a $10,000 cash-only bond from Mesa County Court on Monday.
Pacina was involved in a crash with a motorcycle rider, who reported Pacina's car came up from behind him and hit him, according to the arrest affidavit.
Police conducted field tests and investigated the crash site and blood tests taken the day of the crash revealed Pacina's blood had methamphetamine in his system, the affidavit said.
Woman gets bond in shoplifting case
Sasha Wilson, 38, is accused of drug possession and shoplifting and received a $5,000 personal recognizance bond on Monday.
A loss prevention officer at a local Walmart observed Wilson attempt to take several items from the store and return them to the service counter for a cash refund, according to the arrest affidavit.
