Meth possession alleged

Kehlie Kruger, 31, is accused of drug possession after being pulled over about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday by Grand Junction police officers.

Police noticed the car Kruger was driving had expired plates.

According to the arrest affidavit, an officer saw Kruger appearing to hide something underneath her seat. Officers allegedly saw a digital scale with white residue on it and drug paraphernalia.

In a search of the vehicle, two bags of methamphetamine was found, the affidavit said.

Kruger was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

She was given a $10,000 cash-only bond by the Mesa County court.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Jarod Butchko, 25, is accused of drug possession on July 15.

■ Pamela Diaz, 29, was cited on suspicion of DUI on Aug. 28.

■ Julian Sanchez, 21, was cited on suspicion of DUI on Sunday.

■ Cree Rentie, 27, is accused of drug possession and tampering with physical evidence on Sunday.

■ Kimberly Owens, 28, is accused of third-degree assault on Tuesday.

■ A thief removed property valued at less than $2,000 Thursday in the 200 block of Texas Avenue.
