Assault on woman alleged
Austin Engh, 20, is accused of domestic violence and second-degree assault for punching a woman last week.
He was arraigned on a $15,000 bond on Thursday.
A maintenance employee at a town homes unit in Grand Junction reported seeing an assault take place shortly before noon Wednesday.
A man allegedly punched a woman several times in the head.
The man was later identified as Engh, according to the arrest affidavit.
The woman later told police he regularly beats her and reported being strangled in the past.
Police reported visible injuries on the victim, including bruising on her neck.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office:
■ Robyn Webber, 52, was accused of drug and weapon charges on Thursday.
■ A juvenile is accused of possession with intent to distribute near the intersection of E½ Road and East Valley Drive on Wednesday.
