Legal clinic to focus on bankruptcy
Colorado Legal Services Senior Legal Assistance Program and Pro Bono Project of Mesa County will present a free legal clinic on "Thinking About Bankruptcy and What Does It Mean to Be Judgment Proof."
The clinic will be from 9:30–11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Grand Junction City Hall auditorium, 250 N. Fifth St. It will cover what protected benefits are, what judgement proof status means, and how to stop aggressive debt collectors.

Fish for trout in Collbran private pond
If you like to fish or maybe want to introduce your kids or a non-angling buddy to the joys of fishing, Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Collbran Job Corps have an event just for you.
The town of Collbran will host a day of catching trout in a private pond from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. May 11 at the Collbran Job Corps complex.
The pond is north of the facility. Follow the signs to the pond.
Participants can bring their own tackle or use some of the loaner rods and reels provided by Parks and Wildlife on a first-come, first served basis.
Bring sunscreen, a chair and insect repellent. Pack a lunch and drinks, or support a local restaurant.
All fishing regulations apply. Parks and Wildlife staff will be on-site to help and answer questions.
