Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Grand Junction.
He was a restaurant manager.
Survivors include one son, Joey Everett Shawler of Grand Junction; three daughters, Alexis Aguilera of Phoenix, Arizona and Megan Aguilera and Chloe Aguilera, both of Anthem, Arizona; his parents, Phillip and Jill Aguilera of Grand Junction; and one sister, Lyndi Donley of Denver.
■ Fred "Alby" Albertson, 69, Whitewater, died July 29, 2019, at St. Mary's Medical Center.
A gathering and light luncheon will be from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. today at Mi Mexico restaurant.
He worked in law enforcement.
Survivors include his companion, Christine Buskowski of Whitewater; one son, Robert "Bob" of Bloomsberg, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Harold and Ned, both of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

■ Melvin N. Bennett, 73, Grand Junction, died July 30, 2019, in Grand Junction.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Survivors include his wife, Karen; three sons, Johnathon of Grand Junction and Curtis and Dustin, both of Denver; one brother, Steve of Wyoming; one sister, Donna Rae of Nebraska; and four grandchildren.
■ Mary R. Ellena, 76, a North Fork-area resident, died July 31, 2019, at Paonia Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta.
