Services will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 10 at The Orchard Church in Carbondale.

He was a former Aspen Highlands ski instructor.

Survivors include his wife, Julee; one brother, William of Darien, Illinois; and one sister, Rosemary Durkin Snyder of Willowbrook, Illinois.

■ Virginia Foust, 94, Grand Junction, died Aug. 1, 2019, at Aspen Ridge.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, LeRoy of Clifton; one daughter, Janey Joslin of Grand Junction; one brother; five sisters; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

■ Shirley Mae Johnson, 83, Grand Junction, died July 31, 2019, at HopeWest Hospice Care Center.

She was an office clerk.

Survivors include two sons, Mike of Arizona and Dennis of Colorado; three daughters, LeeAnn Russell of Oregon and Sharena Kriegshauser and Jeanie Williams, both of Colorado; her mother, Lois M. Kimmel of Colorado; one brother, Leon Ebright of Canada; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

■ Terrance W. "Terry" Lester, 72, Grand Junction, died July 29, 2019, at St. Mary's Medical Center.

He served in the U.S. Navy as an air traffic controller aboard the USS Roosevelt-CVA42.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; one son, Casey of Grand Junction; one daughter, Ellen Klein of Maple Valley, Washington; two brothers, Tim Lester of Arvada and Paul Jacek of Hollywood, California; and five grandchildren.

He was a steel worker.

Survivors include his wife, Maryann; two sons, Michael of Grand Junction and Donnie of Indiana; four daughters, Toyah Braun of Oklahoma and Trudy Ramos, Sarah Case and Susan Wilcox, all of Grand Junction; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
