A Denver grand jury has indicted 13 Montrose residents on felony drug distribution charges.

The suspects are accused of conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and heroin and face a minimum of 10 years in prison. This investigation was conducted by the Denver division of the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office, the Montrose Police Department and the 7th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

Eleven of the arrested defendants were transported to Grand Junction to make their initial court appearance. Two are listed as fugitives: Romeo Lujan, 28, and Omar Briceno-Quijano, 29.
