Late vote tallies tipped the scales in the city of Delta, where voters approved medical marijuana cultivation.
Referred Measure 2H passed by 46 votes in final vote tallies after Tuesday's election, according to the Colorado secretary of state.
Final results show the measure passed 50.7 percent to 49.3 percent, with 1,689 votes for the measure and 1,643 against it.
Tallies late Tuesday night showed the measure failing 51 percent to 49 percent, with 1,367 votes against the measure and 1,303 votes in favor.
City voters also passed Referred Measure 2F to allow the sales of medical marijuana.
Residents, however, gave the thumbs-down to two other marijuana-related measures on Tuesday's ballot. Referred Measures 2E and 2G had asked voters to approve retail marijuana sales and retail marijuana cultivation, respectively.
