Stuffing was the runaway favorite Thanksgiving side for Daily Sentinel readers who voted in the latest poll at gjsentinel.com.
Just more than 40% of respondents picked stuffing, more than twice green bean casserole (16%), the next highest vote-getter.
Classic mashed potatoes (13%), sweet potatoes (9%), and cranberry sauce (8%) received relatively large chunks of the vote.
Brussels sprouts and creamed corn received zero votes.
Daily Sentinel polls are self-selecting and are not true scientific polls.
The New York Times reported in October that Major League Baseball was considering a proposal to restructure its minor league affiliates, effectively eliminating teams playing in short-season leagues. The proposed change would shutter the Pioneer League, where the Grand Junction Rockies play.
For the new poll, the question is: How do you feel about the proposal to shutter short-season Minor League Baseball leagues, including the Pioneer League?
