After finally having the chance to see a bill that Democrats introduced Friday to give local governments more control over oil and gas drilling in their jurisdictions, the leaders of the industry's two largest associations aren't happy.

Tracee Bentley, executive director of the Colorado Petroleum Council, and Dan Haley, president and chief executive officer of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association, called on legislative leaders Sunday not to rush their bill.
