The Mesa County commissioners appointed three new members to the Public Health Board on Wednesday, but those appointments are only temporary.

The appointments of Dr. Michael White, Mona Highline and Victor Yahn are only to be effective for a few months while the commission goes through its normal process of accepting applications for that five-member panel.
