CHSAA unveiled the postseason brackets for each classification of high school volleyball on Monday, placing seven local schools in the Class 5A, 4A, 3A and 2A playoffs.

Each of those classifications features a 36-team field beginning with 12 three-team regionals. The regional winner advances to the state tournament and the other two teams' seasons end.

All regionals will be played either Friday or Saturday. Schedules haven't officially been set.

Fruita Monument (14-9) is the No. 22 seed in 5A and will head to Parker to face No. 3 Legend and No. 34 Greeley West.

The highest local seed in any classification, No. 2 Montrose (19-4) will host a 4A regional and welcome No. 23 Eagle Valley and No. 35 Longmont to town.

Palisade (15-8) also easily made the 4A field. The Bulldogs will travel to No. 8 Erie in a regional that also includes  No. 29 Lincoln.

In 3A, No. 11 Cedaredge (19-4) will host Region 11. The Bruins will face No. 14 Bayfield and  No. 26 Buena Vista. Delta (12-11) also made the postseason with the No. 31 seed. The Panthers will travel to Brighton to face No. 6 Eagle Ridge Academy and No. 19 Englewood.

In 2A, one team enters as one of the favorites for the state title and the other made it in by the skin of their teeth.

Meeker (21-2) earned the  No. 3 seed and will host a regional with No. 22 Telluride and No. 34 Sargent. Plateau Valley (14-8) was given the final spot in the tournament with the  No. 36 seed. The Cowboys' reward? A regional with  No. 1 Denver Christian and  No. 24 Peyton.
