The senior won a Class 5A 195-pound regional title at Fruita Monument High School to push his record to 44-3 on the season on the eve of the state tournament.

The sophomore scored 21 points including eight in the fourth quarter to help lead the Bulldogs to their sixth straight win and a spot in the 4A playoffs.
